Sounds like a good day had by all :)

Well what a great day out, we had the best of the weather for both sessions, and was very surprised at how the 1.6 felly compared to the newer stuff, it is always hard to tell how hard others are going tho but we had a ball, I would have loved a drive but Luke is about 100 ft taller than me and I can't reach the pedals

I meant to catch up with Boss fox but never got chance but that Nissan is just   saw it catching us along the back and looked again to see it sideways in the road  , just checking to see if the camera worked and I might upload the vids to utube or somewhere if they are any good.

thanks again guys, I put a few faces to names but having the memory of a goldfish still wouldn't remember anyone lol,

Hope jars got home ok too.

Boss fix where in reading ? By me

Awesome day out , cheers Jason for sorting it out. Can't believe I hit 93db on the sound test though...

Would definitely do a track day again. Apologies if I got in anyone's way!

Amazing day, thanks to Jason for organising it.

Have learnt I really need to commit to the corners (learn to drive lol) as ended up pulling over most of the time to let the more committed (better drivers) past to have their fun :D

Apologies to Richard in the first session, half asleep I tried pulling over to the right to let him pass instead of the left, doh !

Cant wait to start seeing the videos / pictures people post. I suspect a thick black cloud will be following me

Thoroughly enjoyed the day, aside from getting soaked to the skin by horizontal rain. vRoomster performed very well and did not disgrace.

Big thanks to the Briskoda pit crew aka Lee01 for helping get the track wheels on whilst I was at briefing and sound check.

Great day Jason, thanks for organising. :)

The two Brisky sessions were good and dry too!

By comparison the first open session I did an hour later was wet, we (myself and Sparkly's brother) watched three spins in front if us, included one 350z that bounced off the pit wall!

Apologises to Mark for getting a bit close in the second session on the main straight.

I did get pulled in and told off for that and I was in the wrong.

We certainly got the best of the conditions today for the Brisky sessions! :)

At one point I saw the 450bhp Octavia behind me, completely sideways.

There was nothing wrong with the second Brisky session...!!! I'm also not sure why you got pulled and told off...that second one was bloody amazing one and I can definitely say that I have some good passenger experience now.

Glad Richard decided to lock he doors before we entered the track so I had no chance of getting out...;)

This was awesome day and I'm so glad I decided to join you all and bought the last minute ticket.

Thank you all and it was really nice to put some names to the faces...!

A very good time had

My 2 track taxis

Dave and pete were most awesome :)

And i managed to save my splitter on return home which was a bonus

Thanks again to my emergency octy support team :)

Just got home, had a great day, thanks for passenger rides, Joe and Sparkly, I did take pictures of the first Brisky session but was a passenger on the second, I will upload my pictures later.

Thanks Jason for organising things and as usual good to meet up with you all again.

Thanks again for organising this Jason.

Had an awesome day :)

Excellent day. Cheers Jason.

When's the next one?

Even my Uniroyals survived fairly well, was shocked.

took quite a lot of track photos (though I am no expert photographer) I am uploading them to my site www.ribdromedary.co.uk/briskoda though as there is over 700Mb it will take a good while as I live in the sticks so broadband speed is not that great. feel free to download any that you want.

also thanks for the organisation of the day and I hope the gazebo survived.

John

great pics there John thanks for sharing them.

The Felicia can't say the same :giggle:

Nice to meet all that I did. Shame I didn't get on with you despite having a ticket, but I'll be there again next time :)

Yep had a great day, 1st track times i've had in the last year where I have managed to not break something (although the car was a bit twitchy on the way home, i'm hoping thats down to tyre pressure's though).

Thanks once again to Jason for organising it for us.

Here are my vids, sadly my iPhone didn't record the 2nd session, and it seems my gopro was rattling against the bootlid, but it's still watchable, even if the sun was doing it's best to mess with the camera lol.

Had a great day, made even better by a donated late session by Sibart which I took and used to great effect,  It had dried out nicely too

Looks good, enjoyed that.

Must say, my car was looking a little squirrely into Quarry, plus a locked front brake at 3.40 onwards in the top video.

When I was behind you, it looked more like wheelspin as I remember mine used to do exactly that coming out of quarry.

If I'm correct that was Simon Mayo, with S3 engine and Garrett Turbo.

That would be less embarrassing than being too deep on the brakes.

I've just been reprimanded by Clive for using brakes where I shouldn't. :P
