Auto dimming rear view mirror

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me if the Vrs comes with an auto dimming rear view mirror?

I cant see it in the brochure text but it looks like it does in the pics.

It does .

Any Octavia 3 with light assistant has the auto dimming mirror also. Not sure if light assistant is an option on SE cars but is standard on Elegance and vRS trims.

It certainly does my friend

Just for those contemplating auto dimming rear view mirror as an option on non-vrs models. Don't waste your money if you have privacy glass as this stops headlight glare anyway :)

I have a car with it fitted as standard and took optional privacy glass. Mirror hasn't dimmed once in 2 years !!

Er have you got it switched on? I have one on my mkII vRS with factory privacy glass and mine works brilliantly, dims really quickly when another car is behind me at night.

No switch to switch ON or OFF. It is ON by default. Dims when you turn interior light on at night. Must have really dark privacy glass ?? (Ford Focus Titanium X)

There is a switch to switch it on :)

It's just behind the mirror.

Maybe on an Octavia Yes

Ah right, we're in the Octavia III forum and my mind was tuned in that direction ;)
