That's where you need a good bunch to do the heists with. I played alongside one of my crew and some randoms and one of the randoms was crap. He managed to destroy the Hydra at the first attempt and then when someone else flew it, he managed to crash his jet when all we had to do was deliver the Hydra. We also had one of the randoms kill us after we spawned back in Freeroam.

I had exactly the same problem with the prison heist and feel your pain! It can be hard to do with randoms but possible (I managed it after 4 days trying!) Set your car permission to passengers only......that way no one can drive off in your car but can still be a passenger. 

 

After many hours of failure I developed the following technique. Kick anyone who joins the lobby below rank 50.....you need experience on this Job. You could possibly get away with one low rank person as long as you put them on Demolition.....that is the easiest role in this heist, although still easily screwed up if they are cack handed at flying a helicopter. They have to protect the pilot from fighter jets, but if they are bad at this it doesn't really matter as it's fairly easy for the pilot to dodge the jets by himself.  

 

Put the two highest ranked players in the roles of prisoner and prison officer......the prisoner role is the hardest as they are unarmed and when the proverbial hits the fan in the prison they can only shoot what they can pick up off the ground. You need a good flyer in the role of pilot as they will spend quite a while dodging missiles from fighter jets, and have to be able to reliably take off and land.....possibly not at an airport depending on how the escape goes down.........this is a skill that a lot of GTA 5 players seem to lack.......even some high ranking players.

 

When I finally worked out the above I successfully completed this heist on the second attempt. The only close call was at the very end of the heist. The demolition guy has to pick you all up in his buzzard from a beach. He landed so hard the helicopter nearly blew up.....I almost screamed! Luckily we all got in and he managed to fly us to the end of the heist albeit with smoke pouring from the Buzzard....success, but he came very very close to throwing it away at the very last moment.....and he was rank 46 I think.

I've still not hosted the Prison Break one. Lets not get too far ahead haha!

Well if you want to do them all over again I am starting from scratch :(  mind you playing them with for other people helps knowing how to ace the missions next time around.

Nice one at this rate we can get everyone finishing all the heists.

The people carrier one, all black, can be modded and stored. The other one with the gun is a Pegasus job.

I've done the Fleeca Job and Prison Break. Keep getting the phone call to start the Humane Labs one.

Happy to do any that are about but really want to start the Pacific Standard one with someone to do the last unlocks.
