I was so close not to doing my dailies last night, kept asking Mort to help but ignored me for a while lol it was a typical 1 on 1 deathmatch, luckily i managed to get in a game and even then it lagged to hell, he killed me once, i sort of killed him, then it threw me out the session but counted.

Yeah, sorry about that. Got one of my mates to buy GTA5 the other day and it was his first time online, so I was trying to show him the ropes. Forgot how little you have access to at level 5!

 

Least you managed the deathmatch, at one point I'd emptied about 3 clips of the advanced rifle into you from about 10 feet away and your health hadn't budged. Thought you may be husslin' me and had some invincibility hack

Made a right bodge of the Rockets vs Insurgents last night, as vrs19TD found a Uzi you can use against the people with rockets. So i set it to Forced only so meaning the people that should have rockets only had Crowbars :peek:     Was funny though.

 

And I mentioned about a Helicopter on that level....

 

 

Looking in that direction if you go down to the end then look to the right its' on top of the police station.

I am sure that's the same Helicopter you can use on the heist as well (Pacific Bank)

I'll be knocking around for the next few days, will try my best to get on, as it's birthdays the next couple of weeks, so if i am on will more than likely only to do my dailys.

Anyone else having issues doing races/missions? Had a number of times where I have tried to select a race (normally Criminal records as its the shortest) to get my dailies done only to have it glitch somewhere in Vinewood ( looks similar to being in the clouds apart from moving in and out). It lets me have access to menus so I can see the map but can't move. Generally have to find new session when it happens.

 

Also had a couple of glitches where it looked like my online status had gone (thankfully it did come back after a restart)

Wish I had bothered to share the clip of this but couldn't be bothered as it was pretty late.

 

Was on late last night doing my dailies and decided once I had finished to do a couple of random missions.

 

First one was Rooftop rumble, garage cleared in about 20 secs, drove to get the briefcase, shot the driver, went back to pick up the case and just about back to my car (would have been on target for finishing it in about 2-3 minutes) when a t%$t in an insurgent runs over me. Try to get back in my car only to be ran over again and again. Finally got in my car only to have the insurgent try to drive me of the road (difficult to destroy an armoured Kuruma). Decided to take the "freeway"up through the town (as if heading to Sandy Shores) and cut across just on the outskirts of the city at the bottom of Vinewood. Lost him on the way so decided to head across.

 

Wasn't in any hurry as I am still thinking that t%$t can wait! Eventually got to Madrasso's house (at most using half throttle) only to get shot at and driven at by the insurgent so I decided to just drive past instead of going straight for the endpoint. Cue more abuse from the insurgent trying to run me of the road or over me so I drive off and go around the block (insurgent gets trapped down the side of a house trying to slam into me).

 

After I finished going round the block, I did go straight to the endpoint to finish it.

 

Result of the guy being a t%$t - instead of it taking 2-3 minutes with a good reward (guessing about 15K for a quick finish of that mission), it took over twice that and got 24K.

Seems like it has caused people some issues as well, with cars disappearing out of garages or being rearranged between their owned garages.

Yeah, my cars were all mixed up. I did wonder what went on?

 

But I didn't care, they were all still there. Will only be an arse when I need to call the Mechanic for a specific one.

Mine went a bit quicker but still at least an hour.

 

Shame there were no new heists in it.

Gone a bit quiet on here and on game. Must be holidays I guess

 

Just got 21 days on daily challenges done - 7 more and I can give it a rest. Had quite a few days where I have only had solo type challenges such as Ammo drop, flight school etc. Races count even if you are on your own as does darts and the shooting range.

 

Hopefully I either get a few more days like these that I can solo or I manage to find people to help as the next few nights I will be on late (between 9 and midnight probably)

I should be around more from this weekend onward. Work's been a bit busy recently so I've just been on for dalies. Could do with increasing some funds so probably be on Missions/Heists quite a bit over next week.

Well another one done - capture hold, kill 5 players and perform a stunt jump.

 

After waiting for 5 minutes and retrying I finally got a capture hold with one other player - picked up 3 briefcases and then camped my base killing him any time he came near. Won all 4 rounds 4-3 and got my 5 kills - only took 40 minutes as he had set it as 4 rounds with a time limit of 10 minutes each. Still got just shy of 50K for it so probably just worth it.

 

Easy stunt jump and all done.

 

Wonder if they changed the coding for the dailies (that's now about 10 days where I have been able to solo virtually everything) because of those that couldn't get them done due to lack of buddies.

 

Should be about 9ish tonight if anyone is on.

Not had a 1on1 for a while. But definitely still some that aren't solo - like Tennis and LTS/Captures.

 

Worst for soloing in my experience is Impromptu Race, as unless you know someone you NEVER get an invite accepted. At least 1on1s you can grief someone into after a while.
