Thanks guys finally done the bike setup Sorry I went quiet and left the lobby after that was helping a mate on the first heist. :peek:  Although I got a nice 60k out of it.

Was a good night in all - plenty of laughs and a set up done successfully. So much easier doing the bike one without going the direct route.

 

Would be good to get the heist done tonight (my bank balance could do with a nice 200-250k).

 

Should be on about 630-7pm for a couple of hours.

yeah i'm up for doing the heist the way vrs19td has posted on the previous page.

Sounds good - might need to take it a bit slower though to make sure everyone knows their role (ie money bags does not catch up to the crowd control at all until at the bikes allowing them time to clear ahead which should make sure that money bags gets shot the fewest amount of times=more money). Might be frustrating to hang back and not be involved tor the back 2 but worth it at the end.

 

IIRC doing it that way blocks the elite challenge as one of the parts is no NOOSE involvement but I think the time screws you on this one anyway.

 

Also - when in the vans, no playing with the doors!   Doors closed=more protection=more money.

Who's on to do this final heist with me this evening? we will get the full $1.25m if I remember that noose come from behind me while still hiding in the bank.

I should be back on tonight if you need a 4th? Popped on a bit over the weekend to remember how to play, but I've only done the final heist once before.

Given how close we were the last time I reckon we have it nailed. Still can't believe we how close we were (5 secs maybe). If we had just legged it up the last climb instead of waiting until the third attempt up it to bail!

As where I was waiting n the bank, an officer came from behind me, then whilst running down the alley, couple sprung up from yet again behind me, but wasn't too much trouble.

 

Shame the armoured van isn't parked the other way for the people that need to get in the back. 

 

Also, on the cliff, we (front passenger) needs to shoot the  last copper that we see on the dirt track and pinch his jeep and gently roll down to the boat.  Iw ouldnt say first copper as the money grabber will probably get shot we all know how accurate they are.

We definitely did a lot better than the previous time. Certainly a better idea to have the money "in the bank" instead of outside getting shot at - compared to the previous time we only lost about 40K instead of 200K. Now we know about it we can probably lose even less.

 

Should be able to get it done in about 20-30 mins max.

Yeah, i don't know what was happening as i'd been able to hear you beforehand but then suddenly i kept getting the message about NAT type.

It was also strange how twice on my screen it said Kilted left the heist, but on his it said you'd left the heist.

It has to be the Rockstar servers, as I reset my router as I've had trouble with it before but didn't fix the issue.  Hopefully it'll be better tonight.

Was certainly strange as not once did it say that I had lost connection or had NAT issues (which have been an occasional issue in the past). The amount of lag was horrendous though - my character took about 5 tries to get in the wagon at a couple of points which didn't help overall.

 

I think my connection was ok as the only person I couldn't hear properly all night was Nath. Kept coming and going - luckily we had mini who could act as a go between!

 

Shame as I am sure we would have had it if we had had a straight run without network issues.

Like I say lets hope its better tonight.  And like we was going to before it decided to kick us all out, try find supercars parked at the side of the road just get into them and go for it.

Was a good/fun night last night. Enjoyed it a lot.

I even managed to win a race! To paraphrase Days of Thunder - rubbin is racing!

I seem to have a bug where I leave my apartment and fall into oblivion for about a minute before faceplanting a road and 'commiting suicide' very odd.

I've had that happen a couple of time. Also when spawning back after a mission it dropped me about 2 stories above ground.

 

Seems to have stopped recently though; now I just get it when everyone 'leaves' the freeroam lobby at once after about 10 minutes playing. Pretty sure it's not my connection so I'm blaming PSN servers.

Before going into a game (if your host) I find it better if you start off in a invite only session as it moves / loads quicker than a lobby with other players. 

 

 

Side note, Will be doing the final heist tonight need 3 other people Will be on from 7:30 onwards.

Will be great to actually finish the damn thing (with decent money as well hopefully).

Not on tonight, but I heard that on the Heist you can make your way to your garage and enter it to pick up a car? If you don't choose the Kuruma as your personal vehicle at the start of the heist then you could send someone (without the money) off to pick theirs up? Just need to make sure you're not in cops view when entering the garage.

 

Sounds like it could make the whole thing quite easy, so not sure if it's true or if it'll be patched soon if it is?
