How does the bodyguard/VIP thing work? Do we have to choose a leader and get 'employed', or is it tied to Crews somehow?

I'll be on this evening i think getting bored of NFS. Anyone else on?

I wont be on at the weekend or this side of the year for me (at least I don't think), in the mids of moving house and going away for NYE.

I think people just select if they're a VIP and you can choose to become available to hire. I've had x2 invites to become a bodyguard so far but ignored them as i'm checking out the new apartment locations and one of the new cars.

I should be on tonight, though i know Minibeast isn't due on.

Something that is pretty rubbish with the most expensive stilled apartment, you can't go from your garage to the apartment, you have to go outside and across to the front door. I haven't found how you can customise your apartment yet either, unless thats only the new expensive ones.

You also can't go onto your balcony, which seems pretty pointless having it.

Around $800,000, can't remember exactly.

Two new helicopters, most expensive being around $3,300,000. I think they're classed as personal vehicles as i've been able to steal one but when i went to get back in, i was told i didn't have access to the personal vehicle. It might just be that the player left though.

Just read it's $1m to set yourself up as a VIP? Wonder if it's your actual money that pays your bodyguards? Because, if so, I'm not sure on the benefits of running a crime syndicate?

I haven't read that but i've no interest in becoming the VIP anyway. The person with the lowest K/D ratio would be better.

If anyone goes to buy the new Baller, Schafter, etc, i would suggest going for the armoured one as the glass is bulletproof for a few hits, plus you get bulletproof tyres included in the price. The only negatives are that it will likely still blow up easily and you've got the armour plating stuck to the outside.

Had a look at the houses; decided not to.

Had a look at the Yacht; can't afford it.

 

Decided to buy an armoured car for now, might play with VIPing now I've read up on it. But unless I spend all Xmas grinding I don't think there's much in this update for me. I'll look forward to the Xmas day snow and get the old Futo 'slidemobile' out again.

edit: It might actually be available now having seen some people wearing Santa outfits in missions but i haven't checked it out myself yet.

I should be on most days, not sure at what times though.

That's a good emblem but not sure on using the BS initials in there.

If others like it, go for it though. The sharks and flags are good.

I'm also making everyone a commissioner but will demote people based on lack of playing time in the game.

You already were when you joined the Briskoda crew.

That's why i left because it was BS having no-one else from the crew playing.

But I'm No.1 in the Briskoda crew  :'(

Ignoring the design, I reckon a Green/Blue colour mix would both look nice and mean I could have some crew colours on stuff without essentially having a massive arrow pointing to me when being shot at. Not that the Briskoda lime green is overly noticeable or anything...

 

I did start out with a green/blue mix but it was very bright, which i think is the issue with crew colours. We've currently got red, which is bright aswell but does allow pearlescent paint to be applied, which i've never noticed before.

I think whichever emblem is used, it needs to have the clear background so it can be applied to any colour, without having a different colour square on it.
