I have got a new stereo which is the same dimensions and shape as the columbus, I am trying to fit this into a 2010 which currenly houses the bolero but im finding it very hard to find a frame that will allow me to.

 

I have attached an image of my existing frame could you please point me in the direction of how i can get a columbus in without spending a fortune on a frame.

I had already seen that thread and was concerned that the middle dial is square whereas mine is round, can that whole section be swapped with mine (ie the black part of it so i keep my round dials)?

I'm not 100% on this but I don't think there is a silver fascia (frame) for the Columbus with manual A/C controls.

This any help? The second post elaborates a bit on the first for type 9 trims, which I think is the type you need, including colour codes. I reckon the part you are after is 1Z0 858 069 CT 2AU, specifying type 9 and facelift when asking for it.

I had them in my favourites from when I was looking.

Im selling one on eBay to fit a mkII vrs FL as well as my columbus as u have not sold the car and awaiting mkiii vrs delivery

Sorry just looked at your picture and realised yours isn't a vrs so the climate controls are different.

lol not to worry, paying full price from a skoda dealer but at least it will be done :-)

Went to the Skoda dealer, they ordered in the wrong one, even though they used my reg number lol,  ended up ordering one from superskoda.com so fingers crossed it will be correct this time.
