I appreciate i may be bullied on this one, but i would like to get your feelings / opinions.

 

I have been considering the 'decorative foils in black colour with a carbon texture' which you can see from the pictures i have inserted. 

 

Has anyone seen these - are they naf or nice?

 

They cost from the dealer £97 + £33 Fitting...

Not seen any yet, didn't see any on the vRSs at Goodwood. Maybe that fact, answers the question.

I quite like them and was considering buying them. They were shown on the early vrs concepts

Look quite smart, sets the car off nicely (in that picture) as it contrasts the white paint.

These are the only pictures that I've seen of these, I think they're quite restrained and not over the top at all. If you like them I say go for it 

Surprised that you would expect to be bullied here - it's a nice place 

As i have ordered the candy white, they do look nice.

 

I might try and see if i can see them close up at the dealers without committing to buy them!

Is that different from what you were expecting?

I thought it was an actual stick on plastic part :(

It seemes there is a Sport Look Package, which is only vynil and there will be Sport Package, available only later on, that looks more like a plastic stuff.

Anything described as a 'foil' will be like this. They are just stripes -like you get on the Citigo. A plastic part would be described as a 'moulding' or 'trim' 

Has anybody seen this yet? I wondered what the thoughts of you guys were on it... I'm curious.

Yeah at first I was thinking... why is it purple? Then on closer inspection...

 

I think it has the potential to look great, but like TudorM, i'm going to wait until somebody has the nerve to get one installed!

Paul, it obviously won't be purple! :P What you see there is just the CAD rendering and you can color that in any way you want, even yellow with red stripes and brown little stars if you wanted to. That'd be a brave choice!
