Central locking playing up

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2004 superb comfort 1.9tdi auto and had it for a week now.

My central locking seems to be playing up when I unlock it, the drivers door unlocks but the others all stay locked, even when I double press the button. The chrome locking pin things on the top of the door card (technical talk ;) ) move up and down very slightly but still remain locked.

Also I don't know how to turn the headlights on once I've locked the car, I think it's called see you home mode, this would be useful to me but I can't find it,

Thanks in advanced for any help

have you had the car scanned for fault codes re door locks?

And the fuction with the lights is pull up where ever you are turn lights and engine off, pull the flash lights using the stalk (like you would if putting lights on full beam) get out of car lock car and they should already be on.

Hi bodie. Thanks for the reply. I have fixed the central locking issue now. It was a corroded connection inside the passenger front door. All works well after a clean up :)

As for the lights, tried flashing the lights but they didnt stay on. Thanks for the suggestion any way.
