I wouldn't put Bosch plugs in a lawn mower tbh.

NGK BKR8E-11 or stick with your BR8EIX but be prepared to change them more often that you were expecting thats all.

Yes 1.1mm is too wide, but you can easily close the gap by gently tapping the tips (it's very normal) and measuring the gap with feeler gauges.

 

I'd have thought 0.6mm - 0.7mm would be about right.

 

I can't remember the last time I took a set of plugs out of the box's and fitted them as they are.

Well today I had a fiddle under the bonnet checking electrical connections,nothing wrong,but afterwards I took a mate out and it would not misfire for love nor money!

I even tried 5th gear from 1100-1200rpm wide open throttle to see if it would misfire...nothing!
