    I've just sugested that on the prague thread, we did it successfully last year, why not spend the weekend at the ring on the way back? we are driving past after all!

    Interest registered here. The last trips I organised some time ago, we rented out villas at the nearby Sunparks which worked out cheap cheap self catering for everyone.

    We stayed at the hotel fuchsrohre (likely spelt wrong) who is an excellent host and very good for Ring fans.   Nice PS3 setup there too for multiplayer

    STILL hunting for that person to make the trip full.

     

    if you don't want to drive and live anywhere near or south of the M4 corridor, there's a spare seat in my car.  All you need is passport and around £200 to cover accommodation and all food/drink for the whole trip. :)

    Hopefully you'll fill the last place.

     

    We are coming back via Calais so hoping there's no trouble!

    I've been in touch with good old AGT law to see if he would like to come but he's working :thumbdown:

    One taster lap with me and you'll be alright. :)

     

    Still looking for one/two people to come on our trip.  Have a spare spot in cabin.  Only £140 for a twin/double room 3 nights.

    I highly recomend following Jason for a lap, gives you a bit more confidance :)

    I won't be able to keep up :D

     

    I was out last night in the car and I think I might actually use manual mode... sport mode just revs a bit too high and makes the car feel like there's a hesitation/pause when it shifts gear due to the power dropping right off near the red line.

     

    I'm getting very excited now!

    I've now secured a local mate to passenger with me.  Never been to the ring, wants to see the atmosphere etc.  Perfect candidate to learn all about it, especially with the experience the rest of us all have going. :thumbup:

    The time has come! Were off to the Nurburgring today! Well stopping over in Dover tonight and then off for real first thing the morning!

    Woohoo, he says still in the office working.....

    1,000 miles since yesterday , and I haven't checked the oil yet ...

    Great trip and good to meet you all ! Long drive home though. Over 700 miles for me more for Sharkrider with Jason not far off. Interesting weather on the Sunday made for some challenging driving conditions!

    fantastic weekend, thanks to everyone :) cant believe the only casualty was Rooneys ABS, and thats already fixed!

    They'll be approaching a bit quicker for me... I only have 105 bhp remember!

     

    Will probably just stick it in S as I don't have paddles on the wheel!
