  • I've just sugested that on the prague thread, we did it successfully last year, why not spend the weekend at the ring on the way back? we are driving past after all!

  • Interest registered here. The last trips I organised some time ago, we rented out villas at the nearby Sunparks which worked out cheap cheap self catering for everyone.

We stayed at the hotel fuchsrohre (likely spelt wrong) who is an excellent host and very good for Ring fans.   Nice PS3 setup there too for multiplayer

I can't find any pictures of mine! :(

I'll have a look. I think it's possible the photographers dived for shelter when the heavens opened.

first lap of the weekend, a sighter lap. part one....

Need to unset the video from Private Dave :p

done, and part 2

more to come

Remember the GT86 we saw crashed at the side of the track (wipperman)? This is how it happened. Expensive weekend for the guy driving this rented car.

cool. too fast, understeerd off onto thegrass bythe look of it! cosmetic bodywork, but you can see why he didn't carry on with two lots of broken suspension!

this lap was interesting as it rained part way through.... we immediatley had an accident! :o set to "for whom the bell tolls" by metallica ;)

the clio nearly hits the wall at the beginning..... it then dries out :) and wgen inGermany .. Rammstien!

proper rain

second half of the wet lap... and we have FOG! :o

Ouch looks like good fun though

That 106 was behaving a bit cheekily to say the least no?

Looked like he went up the inside of a bike which had already turned in.

he was quite fast, and knew the track, I think he knew what he was doing... I'm just very wary around bikes, the consequenses don't bear thinking about! :o I wouldn't pile up the inside of them!

last vid... white van man gets everywhere!

I think I went through the karousel faster than you ;)

Mr Rooney was impressed with my commitment there! I said it probably had something to do with my soft suspension and bigger profile tyres that made it more comfortable and didn't think twice about chucking it in and keeping my foot to the floor!

Bring on Ring trip 2015! I wanna do the whole hog next time though and not just one day there! :)

Yes your commitment through the Karussel was truly impressive! Are you sure you've never been around before ? Or it could be your just crazy? lol! Dave did say you have no fear when behind the wheel of a car lol!

It was interesting going out with You ,Jason and Dave and seeing the different driving styles and cars. All of which impressed me in different ways.

DSG gear boxes ,Fedral track tyres 300bhp diesel engines.....fantastic!
