How does that price look to the more knowledgable here? Anything I should watch out for?

I wouldn't have thought that price was anything special for that mileage.

It's listed as having xenon's but they aren't factory fitted (no headlight washers) so judging by the colour of the light output it is an aftermarket HID kit.

I think 5k is alot of money for the mileage. Looks half tidy in the pics but then they always tend to.

Id defo want confirmation that its a CR as at that age it might not necessarily be (Skoda did cut over to the CR lump just before the Facelift), also if it has a DPF at that mileage it could still be on its way out even if it is a CR as they are a wear and tear service item with that kind of mileage life expectancy.

Does the car also have any additional spec? Car defo does not have factory xenons, if its had a HID conversion how well has it been done?

Also sounds a bit pikey that they wont go to the trouble of replacing the fog before they sell it.

No xenons, unless its a cheap and unknown aftermarket kit. The missing headlight washers give the game away

 

As mentioned, why not replace the foglight. The part is cheap enough and quiet straight forward to replace, and could make the car more appealing.

If the car has factory fit Xenons, with the lack of headlight washers, I would be looking for poorly repaired accident damage.

Only 37k miles, really good condition with loadsa goodies. So IMO, you can do a lot better...

Oops sorry, just noticed it's an estate & diesel you're after so slightly different market... Still I think you can offer nearer £4k or choose something else. Depends how hard those 148k miles have been, something that will be very difficult to determine from just looking at it or taking his word for it.

I like the colour though
