Too young for an Octavia?!

Featured Replies

I hope not haha, I'm 22 and picking my mk3 vrs estate up later this week, got my mk2 vrs at 21

Gone from octy mk 2 to yeti. Going back to octy mk 3 est. I'm 54. Is that young or old?

21 with a vRS Hatch on Order :)

It's got less than 10 seats I'll have you know...

I'm 2 years younger than you and I'm sure you've got quite a few 10 seaters with lifts on too  :p

I'm 26 and have a yeti :p

Although I need to get shot of it lol

I learnt to drive in an estelle 120 and used it to travel to college.

Had smaller skodas but didn't get the oct until 40, but that was down to family not age. My dad didn't his until 72 as it was a better deal than a fab.

Ok, so I'm rapidly approaching my 30th Birthday and have bought an elegance estate! Am I too young for this car or do I have followers?

Come on people do me proud and say I've made the right decision!

I just turned 29. I am very happy with my choice.

I've just turned 23, bought a mk2 FL vrs when I was 21, now waiting on my mk3 vrs.

I've just turned 28 and ordered my Octavia Estate 1.6 Elegance Estate Candy White when I was 27! Although I am still waiting for delivery I think it is a pretty cool car!

27 here, got my fab estate at 22

34 on my second octavia estate. Got my first in 2005... cant work out how old I was.

I am only 76 and wish I was 26 and would still get an octy 3 as I have now got a 2.00 Elegance WOW what a great car

My body is over 71 years old but my brain is about 19. I am waiting delivery of my first and last new car, a mk 3 Octavia estate SE, I do not allow myself to get the least bit excited. I would hate to succumb to blood pressure or heart failure as I hear many old folks do!

when word arrives to collect it I will wake the neighbours with a joyous yell early in the morning as I leap in the air and wave to them. I should die happy after collection1

Yes you are too young, buy yourself an old Fabia vrs diesel instead. The law states you must be at least 35 to own an octavia estate, you must have fathered 3 children and own at least one dog.

Got a 1.9 tdi fabia 3 when I was 27,

Then an octy FL 2.0tdi elegance when I was 30

Now awaiting a mk3 2.0 tdi octy.

All been brilliant so far, great cars, understated, brilliantly performing cars.

I was 35 when I got my first, now 41 on my 4th plus I have a motorhome and live in a bungalow. So I guess I am not the best advert of youth.

I was 31 when I got the 1.8T 4x4 hatch, now on my 3rd Skud, not counting SWMBO's Octy II and we also live in a Bungi, since I was 26!

The missus and I are 27 and 28, and just got our mk. III. In my opinion the design of the car is very understated and classy, and could very well appeal to a broad age spectrum. And at least it's not full of tacky and superficial design elements like cars that try to appeal to a younger audience.

I was 28 for my first Octavia and 30 when I upgraded to the VRS
