Aston Martin Rapide. Blue Badge on dash.

Best I'd seen before that was an Audi S8.

And your problem with that is ?

Wow where does it say he has a problem ?

He doesn't ! Paul may have though lol :)

Don't think this is a sensible subject

But interesting enough to draw us in ?

Just seconding guessing. If I'm wrong, fair enough. I'd love one on my drive. I've checked, and they aren't available on contract hire or lease....

There's no law against blue badge holders having a decent car or being a passenger in a decent car.  By seeing the blue badge, there will be some people that mistakenly think that they've got the car for free, funded by the tax payer through the Motability scheme.

Could have been for the passenger.

that was my thoughts and views aswell as i'am looking into the blue badge as my fiancee is chronically ill, a bit judgmental imo

David Murray ex Chairman and Owner Rangers FC, & Murray International Metals is a double leg amputee,

he is not known for driving about in a Proton.

I wonder if Alex Zanardi ever displays a Blue Badge on his cars.

I'm pretty sure the max allowance you'd get is only about £300 per month anyway.

£55.25 a week DLA HR Mobility Component is no place near £300 a month.

but War Disabled do get more than that. & a couple can put both their Allowances together if they were to lease from Motabiity Finance.

But Motability Finance being a Charity, but a very wealthy charity has nothing much to do with Tax Payers.

Tax Payers may be considered to be responsible for paying  Benefits & allowances, but do not supply cars.

Well not free to the Disabled, maybe to Civil Servants and Members of Parlaiment.

Being Blue Badge Holders does not automatically mean that someone claims or recieves Benefits or Allowances.

Nothing wrong with that, I've seen a blue badge on a DB9 too, automatic and easy to drive so I can see why they're popular. A family friend of ours ended up with ME and ended up in a wheel chair for ten years of his life as his legs weren't strong enough to drive a manual. From his bed when really ill he set up a very successful business and got himself a Bentley Turbo RT.

that was my thoughts and views aswell as i'am looking into the blue badge as my fiancee is chronically ill, a bit judgmental imo

It's put in application and await assessment. A bit of virtual hoop jumping is needed, but the assesment is possibly the thing to get right. Do as said on here, let any good thing get outdone by what you can't do . It's your one chance to show what you can't do .Use the barrier rails and stop for a rest before you need it. Good luck .

Fella staying in the gite next to us this summer in France had one leg. Drove his Ford CMax to holidays but said he couldn't wait to get back home where he had a garage with 3 old skool Jags in it.
