Cooling fan

Featured Replies

Hi, excuse me if this has been asked before. I have recently changed my company car to a 63 plate, Skoda Octavia Estate, 1.6 TDI. I have noticed that even on a short 10 mile journey, after turning off the ignition, the cooling fan stays on for about 10 minutes! Is this normal? I never noticed it on my previous 1.9TDI Skoda Octavia Estate.

Thanks,

John

Yeah normal on my VRs.

Yes it normal as it's trying to keep the engine bay cool due to interruption of a DPF regen. It's in the owners manual.
