Hi all, been away for a while, ordered my 4th skoda today ! Current work leased Hyundai ix35 goes back in February so I've got my own way and ordered my 4th vrs , so excited feel like a bloody kid :-) 2 Fabias and an octavia loved all of them, should never of left skoda for Honda then Hyundai , test drove the mk3 last week, placed order for cr hatch with loads of extras today,,,,, can't wait !

Wait is a concern aye ,,,,, must have by February or I will be marooned !

Been reading rough the forum since coming back and I've become fairly worried by delivery lead times due to various options ,,,,,, mine is a lease order so I'll get v little information , car needs to arrive before end of feb or I'm in a hire car situation as current lease ends in feb .

Cr hatch

Black pack

Columbus and canton

Winter pack

Vrs leather

Anyone think these options will incur delay ?

Assuming your going for TDI?

If so I don't think you should have it too bad, winter pack seems to not hold anything up with the TDI but as you've probably seen it's causing some trouble on TSI orders. Hatches seem to now be in production so even with a backlog they should be able to catch up by February and the other big delays now seem to be pano sun roofs and radar units. Being these radar units are now standard on the Golf I'd guess they've pulled Skoda's stock for the VW's. As you have neither of these I think you could be ok :-)

Folks, need some feedback here, order for hatch cr vrs went in last week , dealer unable to guarantee delivery to coincide with current lease ending , which is February, given the waiting times that some of you are quoting , would you say I've placed the order in time for february or not ???? Seriously thinking about cancelling at the moment. Simply can't be without a motor in my job, and there is no chance of extending current deal and I won't hire a car to bridge any gap out of principle !

I ordered my diesel hatch on the 23rd September and I have been given a provisional build date of week eleven.

(10/03/14). I have race blue paint, leather heated seats, black pack, amundsen sat nav, cruise control and spare wheel. To the best of my knowledge none of these options incur any additional waiting time. Probably not what you wanted to hear and neither did I lol. I contacted SUK yesterday and they said to contact them again towards the end of December for an update. The dealer originally expected the car to be built in December. It looks like a six or seven month wait for me. Not to happy but what can you do ? Except cancel !

Why cancelled Kerms? I went for a Seat Leon 184FR with sunroof and that put the delivery well past my lease date expiry. All we did was use the same lease company and simply extended the lease on my current car with them until delivery. Why wouldn't they let you do that?

I'm being picky , the dealer couldn't guarantee the week would stay the same. Current lease runs out soon, the car will be due it's first large service which I don't want to pay for hence not extending that lease further.

Oh right, ok. If you want the 184BHP engine then you are left checking out the Golf and the Leon for delivery times. I went for the Leon. But I guess the issue maybe size, and if so Seat have put the 184 in the new Leon ST estate. Not sure on delivery times for the Estate though!!!

The gtd delivery times are a joke mate , vw dealer fronted up with the info that if I ordered that day (2 weeks ago) he couldn't guarantee delivery until march/April. What timescale have you been given ?

On the Leon I ordered late June and get delivery in 2 weeks. The delay on mine was due to the sunroof. You're best of asking them as deliveries on the Seat forum seem to be coming through fine now
