All Swissol'd Up

Featured Replies

OK got my starter kit from Mark(Wax Wizard), car has done over 600 miles this week, having been to crowland for remap.

Car was looking a bit worse for wear -- definately dirtier than it's been since I got it!.

So to work -- hosed car off,cleaned wheels,wash'd car,cleansed car,wax'd car -- stood back -- WOW!

I was quite suprised actually how easy it was - ok a bit time consuming for the first go -- it took me 4.5 hours, and now I'm totally knackered -- but the application and removal of the cleanse and the wax -- dead easy.

No residue,No dust -- just nice,clean & very shiny.

Not so sure about the multiclean -- it did struggle a bit on the wheels today -- but they were dirtier than they are likely to be again.Plus it has dulled the caliper paint -- but overall I am very happy with the result -- see for your self

And another one

Deffo tarted up nicely - 4.5 hours well spent mate :)

4.5 hours... I give in to the mud-and-dust look. :D

Shoooo luukkkks daiimn shinuuuuh, Dauuuhv ...

Don't forget its only hard the first time...

And the flies avoid swissol?

No, the flies can be swiped of by first misting (spraying a bit of water) the spaces where the flies are and then they can be wiped of using nothing but a towel.

skodaw (Dave W)...great to see you had a fab result.

You can always agitate the surface of the wheels with a brush when using MC2. The simply let loose with the pressure washer or hose.

Just rember to keep the high impact areas well waxed each week or at least once a fortnight....front number plate, leading edge of bonnet, roof header, a posts, wing mirror pods, fron bumber and headlamps.

Have fun and ENJOY!

I'm not much into Swissol, but I did just spend an hour with a rag and hose getting every single insect carcasse off the front of my car and the wingmirrors - my back is moaning about that now!

I think this afternoon I'll break out the dyson and maybe go for an Autoglym if I'm feeling fit!

Edit: Just thought of your next (cheap) mod. Remove the "oh no!" sticker from the rear screen and replace it with a briskoda one - see attached on next post ( ok, so its on the front screen, who cares? :D )

as promised.

Looks top banana, Dave.

I like the pics along the side of the car. I got a similar one of Mark (Wax Wizard)'s car in the side of Quinten's. I think that the Swissol seems to produce an excellent finish on the black, better than on my Cayenne.

Like Mark says, just treat the high-impact areas each week and the bugs will be a cinch to take off. I can wash and 'frontal' both cars in just over an hour now.

Just did a full wash and wax on the Mondeo today - 2.75 hrs start to finish including tyre wall prep and shut line cleaning as well. This would have taken me half a day before.

Cheers,

1.4 16V -- dunno might be a bit fast for me :D :D

Dave,

I found the multi-clean excellent on the wheels. Have to, as Mark said, use a brush but it gets everything off. Even the inside of my wheels are clean!!

Will have to post a pic if I remember.

Cheers.

Adrian.

Yep,have done 1st re-clean after application -- how easy is that.

Also take back comments about multiclean -- wheels were fairly clean this time - so just sprayed again and no problem all clear -- will use brush if get bad again.

When I rinsed car off ready to clean - I think I could have just left it -- all the dust just flowed off, leaving it looking fairly clean anyway

:) Well done Dave. Thx also for your IM. Thx also for the kind comment within the IM...much appreciated.:D
