HI,

Using VAG parts only.  A new clutch kit with flywheel assembly .   Quoted 700.00 pounds.

I see many cheaper on ebay BUT unsure of quality ect .

Just scanning for your thoughts.....30pounds offered for old parts by VAG supplier.

All good advice welcome.

If not buying VAG parts, then my advice is go for Sachs (with LUK my second choice after Sachs). This is especially important for your DMF.

Or buy a single flywheel and clutch system much cheaper

Got to have my DMF replaced this week sounds like a bag of tin cans when starting and constantly after its been run for a while, bloody clutch feels fine but oblviously having both replaced, just to add salt in the wound I've got a 170 4x4 diesel, Have been quoted £980 to fit a LUK DMF and clutch kit, LUK make Skoda OEM parts, sounded a lot till I got a quote of Skoda for near £1400, Rediculous thata wearable part costs so much!

Update: Actually.....I saved a lot by buying a National Clutch Kit, much cheaper and supplier has not had any returned , worth considering.

Hi, I've got a Superb Hatchback 2010 with the 140 CR diesel engine at 78,000 and the clutch needs replacing.

Anyone got an idea of costs, and where to get a good deal in South East London?

Thanks,

Peter.
