New Seats

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Im fed up to the teeth of my seats in the fabia!

I have been offered some retro looking recaros trimmed in black leather! Would these fit????

What car are they coming from?

why whats up with your seats??? is it a vrs? cant be cause those seats are great!!

They're supportive. They're not bad. Great though, hmm. Material isn't that strong and it marks pretty easily.

There is better out there though :D

PS I won't be changing mine, mind you ;)

8 months and not a mark.

:wavey: Willing to take anyone's throw away vRS seats off them.

i have had mine eight months and there still clean. treat them right, and they will stay clean.

mine were a pig to keep clean especially with my dirty job. in the end I gave up bothering. they look nice when clean though

Either you have a plastic draped all over them or you have an even amount of dirt spread all over your seats which your eye can't see. Take it for an upholstery clean-out and I'm sure you'll notice the difference :)

The colour is certainly not ideal, but I've got too many other things I need/want to do first (Milltek GB, protective undertray GB (sign up if you want one, only a few more peeps needed), FMIC GB when it comes along).

By the time I can afford it it will probably be too late and SWMBO will want a baby

Get them retrimmed

As for my seats nearly a year and there spotless... But then I do use a seat cover if i've been on site.

Babies are always good....you're gonna need white seats to cover up their barf after a good feed if they ain't burped properly....

DITTO........look after them, they'll look after you.

Unfortunately....and im sure of most of you are aware....

I am extremyl care giving to my car.......however swmbo is less understanding and such things as fake tanned legs, makeup, food, drink etc seems to coat passenger side of the car extremely quick.

Sound familiar to anyone else????

Not so far, apart from a few crumbs ;) - that said I know exactly what you mean. Some kinda easy-clean surface would work very nicely :D

I find those everywhere, she must buy them in hundred packs. Once i woke up and when i looked in the mirror i had one stuck to my face, been lying on it all night :o

I run my staff home at night from the chippy, they are usually covered in grease which then leaves lovely stains on my seats. I was at the end of my tether yesterday and went to halfords to a) find some nice seat covers - they don't exist B) buy two chairs for the front cos i find mine uncomfortable. Wrong place to be looking I think, so instead I came away with some auo glym upholstery cleaner. Couldnt have been easier. Spray it on, rub ground in bits such as grease blobs with a damp sponge, allow to dry and vac out. **** me!!! they are as good as new now, and there isn't much worse than chippy grease to get shut of. (maybe gearbox oil).

My passenger seat's only been used for about 200 miles, the car's done nearly 10k. I eat my lunch in it 3 days a week and my seat's spotless.

There are 3 seperate marks/stains on the passenger seat! Women of the world unite, and get a lift from your filthy-skip-driving mates and stay away from my car!!!

:D Just kidding darling :D

My gf and mum are in my passenger seat (not at the same time) and it's the same, my side is immaculate, their side is filthy. And I don't even have a vRS!
