Has anybody received or got a pick up date for a VRS hatch yet?.........mine I still sitting in Embden awaiting shipping.........getting impatient now.

There was one sitting waiting to be collected at Progress Skoda in Letchworth, last Friday when I picked up my vRS estate.

Picking mine up on 21/10! It's sat at the dealers already. At least I'm working all next week to take my mind off the wait

Spotted this 184 DSG in the dealers showroom yesterday. Appeared to be a standard spec with the exception of a spare wheel.

Me too. Saw how nice the estate looked in white and fancied it for my hatch, glad I stuck with race blue now.

The colours do seem to make a difference between the hatch and estate, but I do actually quite like it, except for the silver colour wheels. needs a darker colour to make it stand out, for me anyway.

The estate looks best in white, definately! But the hatch needs a bit more colour to bring the slightly dull styling to life!

It does look plain, I think the white needs the darker wheels, aswell as window tints to break up the plain looking back end.

I have ordered a white hatch with black back, darker wheels and sunset glass so i'll stick to that opinion lol...

No aerial on the roof ?????

I think the shark fin aerial only comes with nav and upgraded Bluetooth.

I dont think the pictoris wheels do alot for the car, that hatch probably hasnt been photographed at its most flattering angle and would look alot better with the anthracite geminis

The Pictoris wheels just dont suit the vRS at all.....

We are awaitingba build date, dealer has told us they are not even buildingthe first hatches until week 45, first week of Nov. how do people have ones waiting for collection? Understand they have sent some out as demonstrators for the dealerships.

You need to tell your dealer his information is wrong. Mine is at my dealers awaiting collection in 8 days - got built Week 37

Really nice race blue mk3 vRS was in my dealers the other week and thought it was a demo but spoke yesterday to the sales chap and it was a customers ordered car, looked very nice overall.

Saw it coming towards me the other day at least it stood out to the point I noticed it, unlike IMHO the totally bland and boring new Seat Leon!

No your safe, it was in Plymouth Skoda dealers and saw it out around on the moors a couple of nights ago

Yes ordered a white combi (4x4) here but purely as it's a free colour and I prefer it to the other no cost colours which I've also tried on previous cars. Seems more sensible to me to spend the £495 on kit rather than paint but a personal take on it.
