Octavia VRS CRD 2009 (59) Facelift in Candy White, SOLD

Featured Replies

Hi, listing my car for about 3 weeks and will keep it if it doesn't sell in this period. Long story short, have the chance to buy a friends car that get's traded in against a new Audi in approx 3 weeks time.

I'm the second owner of this car, the first being a forum member here also. It is one of the best examples you will find anywhere, with high spec, in Candy white, and in exceptional condition.

First registered 30/10/2009

taxed to 30/09/2014

MOT expires end of this month, so will be re-tested and will come with a full year.

HPI clear, no accidents, repairs, finance etc.

It's just tipped over 30,000 miles from new and has very recently had it's second long life service, and Cambelt and water pump replaced - all work completed by forum sponsors, details supplied on request.

The car is not standard, So for all of you not put off by that, please read on :)

Skoda extras; Cruise control, Zenon's, front and rear parking sensors, Bolero, Jumbo Box, climate, Maxi-dot

Modifications;

Shark DPF delete (gutted and refitted - just incase DPF inspection is included on future MOT checks) coded to suit and remapped to circa 215-220Bhp - not been on a rolling road, but on road performance is excellent, very smooth and torquey, and fuel economy is better than standard. The car produces no smoke as a result of this conversion.

Suspension is KW variant 1 Innox coilovers (the long life stainless steel ones, ie, expensive and great quality) - again, fitted and set up by a forum sponsor. These have been adjusted to an optimum height for good handling, rather than as low as possible for looks, and retain an excellent ride quality as a result.

Wheels are genuine 19'' BBS CH black edition with excellent tires.

The difference between how the car drives and handles compared to a standard  CR Vrs is like night and day - Having said that I'm in my 40's and not a boy-racer!

I'll get some more details up in the next couple of days, but here's a pic to wet the appetite of anyone interested.

Bottom line is I want £12k for the car as it stands now, not really interest in offers as I do love this car and if doesn't sell I just won't be buying my friends Audi :)

Gone with Luke back to Jabba......

Sadly, the A5 I was buying was rear ended at the begining of the week :'( .... couldn't believe it, absolutely gutted

Luckily, after doing hundreds of miles to find something else this week (Sorry Luke!), we shot across the bridge into wales today and put a deposit down on a 59 plate Audi TT 2.0 TFSI S Line special edition coupe, in Candy White, one owner, with only 19,000 miles from new - It is MINT!

My Mrs can't wait to pick it up tomorrow, as it'll be her car, although I'll have a play in it now and then ;)

I still need to find something else though, as we've taken a deposit on her A1, as it's not big enough as our main family car....... Starts hunt for a Yeti, Superb or another Octavia  :wall:

Hope you enjoyed the drive home Luke !

really sorry to hear about your a5, thank you for sticking with the sale, very genuine of you when you could of just returned my deposit!

The drive home was lovely, as was the drive to snetterton the next morning  :-)

Thank you for such a nice car

Luke
