So far these figures are bang on what Skoda forecast, shame they didn't forecast the volume though eh?

Collected mine on Friday. Candy white TSi Manual Estate with Sunset, Black Pack, Cruise and the Bluetooth Upgrade. I love it.

Race blue, tdi, manual, estate, black pack, red trim, variable boot, cruise.... Sometime in 2014.

It's not really a fair poll considering estates are out first.

Still able to order hatches though, plus a mate of mine order his estate a week before me and he has an unconfirmed BW11 yet mine got built this week, he didn't even have any extras that I hadn't opted for. Weird

I have ordered..

Tdi Hatch in Race Blue, Sunroof, Sunset glass, Spare wheel..

Hopefully it will arrive before Christmas

When did you place your order exactly? 6 month delays are only applying to estates?

Hmm, I wonder if (assuming these figures are close to total order ratios) this means the rarer variants will have a higher value as a part-ex.

I doubt it seeing as most of the rarer versions are petrol

Thinking about it the rarer variants won't have a better partex value as there's clearly less demand for them

Typically diesels will hold better value than petrols due mainly to better fuel economy and lower Road Fund License costs under current rules. The 3yr GFV's I was quoted for Petrol vs Diesel VRS Estates were as follows:-

*Petrol VRS Estate - £9,900

*Diesel VRS Estate - £11,600

£1700 (£1300 after diesel-petrol list price difference) is a fair bit to lose, not to mention also averaging 35mpg for petrol vs 45mpg for the diesel. The petrol does win on some points though, notably it is smoother, faster, sounds better, has two real exhaust pipes , and will not suffer DPF issues. Servicing is also cheaper, and there is talk about penalising diesel emissions much more heavily in the future due to their release of heavy metals into the environment.

Personally I am happy to lose £1300 (~5%) on a £25,000 car for the benefits listed above. I only drive low miles (6-8K pa) so costs are not excessive and I get (for me) a much better car for just £10-£15 more per week over the course of 3 years.

For anyone doing lots of miles or making a company purchase the diesel is a much more sensible choice.

Sod being sensible  . Buy what you like.

It would be also nice to see the colours chosen, not per version but overall.

Hi all, Ordered my 3rd vRS in Sept with a forecast for Dec. Rio Red TSI manual hatch.

It would be also nice to see the colours chosen, not per version but overall.

I agree. Colour choices would be good to know.

I think we can all guess the most popular colour... (for the estates anyway!)

Updated to include all 126 entries so far

edit: The reason I have not added colour choice within this poll is because we will end up with 10x as many combinations, and more graphs with very small numbers within most of them. A separate colour poll would be easier for someone(else) to manage.

Pity you didn't include a colour breakdown in all that.  Would perhaps have settled the "race blue is best" argument once and for all maybe ?

TDI Hatch in green.....

But I'd rather have a TSi......  Am worried about buying a diesel, but I guess petrol would have been vastly more expensive to buy and run, especially with a daily 80 mile commute.

Race blue TDI VRS manual Hatch. Ordered 17th August - reached Grimsby yesterday. Hopefully have it next week.

Ordered mine 20th oct was told late feb delivery so prob going to hang on for the new reg.

Race blue tdi dsg with a few toys.

Surprised how low the dsg option is. Personally I love the dsg this will be the second car I've owned to have it, I know it's all personal choice and I'm not trying to start a big thing about which is best!!! Like I said personal choice but reading post on this site dsg seems to be mentioned a lot with regards orders or pick ups, was expecting more like 50/50 in the poll.

Ordered 28th Oct vRS Hatch TDi Corrida Red (my 3rd vRS) - arrives sometime in 2014, probably March, little concerned at delay, but hey I am driving a 2013 vRS at present, so can wait a while.

Looking like the estate is the common one - wonder if that could be down to delivery delays on the hatch?

Silver vRS hatch tdi - picking up next week all being well!
