I stayed because they no longer make a Diesel Fabia VRS. If they make one in the future, there is a very good chance I will be back.

Fabia vRS is to be discontinued, so not even a petrol model in the next gen :(

Is it not the Name vRS being Dropped from the Mk3 Fabia?

(maybe due to all the duff engines they have built for the Mk2's, not a good idea to continue using vRS with a new Fabia.)

 

Now if they are going rallying with Mk3 Fabia R5's with 1.6 Turbo ,

might there not have to be some kind of nippy Mk3 Furby.?

Maybe something based on the new S1 Audi coming out shortly.

 

Not really much use Skoda continuing calling cars 'Sport' when all they do is look sporty,

and often have the most unsporty of handling.

 

Rally & Motorsport divisions,. 112 years of motorsport Heritage, so currently they just call them 'Monte Carlo' and make them look like they have some go,

& the best they can sell the public would be a 105 ps, diesel or petrol.

Mazda 6 turned my head. 1 it was a bargain and 2 it had all the options on it as standard that are rare as hen's teeth on a Skoda.

A few guys I know are now leasing little cars like the UP for commuting and keeping something older but more interesting for the weekend.

I'm getting a Mercedes A Class on Saturday, nothing wrong with my Fabia and I'll miss it, but I need something bigger and more economical. I'm getting an A170L CDi Avantgarde, all the bells and whistles and getting it as a straight swap
