tomorrows specials at Aldi

Featured Replies

Amongst other 'stuff' they've got a torque wrench in a case with extension bar and 3 sockets for £15.99. Good for getting the correct torque for your alloys if nothing else.

Never been in an Aldi, I thought they only sold food.

Our nearest is miles away.

Cheers for the heads up, might pop into there on the way home from work. Was planning to get a flash digital/vibrating one but it'd be a bit over kill for my use. :D

I got a Torque wrench from Lidl, sounds very similar. I think the Lidl one was a rebranded CK tools one.

See the forum is educational too LOL. They sell quite a lot of stuff via their Thursday and Sunday specials on stuff like cycling, running & skiing gear as well as gardening stuff in the spring etc. If you want to see what they do subsribe to their email service and they'll email you twice a week with the offers

Guess where I'm going after work today :)

Further proof, were it needed, that Lidl is one of the greatest places on Earth. My £3 rivet gun is still going strong and i've only just had to order more rivets from VW Heritage :D

home??

Technically you're not wrong I shall also be going home. :)

So.... Did you make it home with your new aldi purchase?

I'd ask Seb for the reciepts.... he's occasionally known for the odd wind up... Not that I'm suggesting he's at it again of course!

Lol :o

Bought the lockable roof bars they did the other week, good quality and lot cheaper than the names brands at £26.. Couldn't be happier :)

Will have to check their website regularly. My nearest store is about 15 miles away but sounds like its worth a visit.

It's worth it IMO to subscribe to their email list because they only have the delivery for their offers once and put it iut on the Thursday or Sunday and if it's popular stuff it sells out very quickly. When I last went to get some of their cycling gear on the Thursday lunchtime it had all but sold out. It was the same with the skiing stuff when we went to get some 4 years ago. The locak store was out by lunchtime so we ended up going to Worcester, but it was so cheap compared to getting it elsewhere it was worth it. If you subscribe you'll get the heads up on what'll be on offer on the next special day so you can decide if you want to be there on the morning it gets put out otjerwise your trip might be for nothing.HTH

Cycling stuff is awesome , son cycles a lot and its pretty good quality, and the bangor store was full of cycling stuff

I have Lidl and Aldi on my saved list, most (if not all) of lidls tools have a 3 year no quibble guarantee, I haven't managed to break any of them yet and I'm quite harsh on tools.

I have noticed that one of the specials at Lidl is a bench grinder and my old (10 years old) one died this week, so I'm off to lidl tomorrow.

Look what I got today
