Hmmm. He's Trevor, the autotrader says a different name. Yet the same reg.

I wouldn't want to pay that much...then again to be fair I AM holding out for my dad to decide if he ever changes his (newer) TSI

I bet they wouldn't offer him anything like that in P/X tho so even if I have to wait a year or two I'm still onto a winner

That is indeed a trader price margin, no one in their right mind would pay that for private used sale

The wisebuyer link is for a car with 40,000 miles though and not 7,900 miles

I paid a bit more for my estate superb too but mine only had 9,000 miles. Would have paid quite a bit less for a car with 30,000 odd miles more

Are you blind ? It says Car valuation adjusted for 8,000 miles  Just kidding mate seriously, just point out you missed that

It says thats for trade. That would be fair enough if he'd straight out made it clear it was trade.

Seems like they are trying to be sneaky and doing it as private despite it really being trade (if the ad truly is on autotrader as cited above, I haven't personally checked this).

Is that even allowed ? Looks like they've been rumbled if this is the case. Its worth reading this as it clarifies the reason why people like "Trevor" do this
