Thanks Andrew.  Those two engine layouts look almost identical.  I guess the only way to determine which is if I can see the boost sensor from the top of the engine - otherwise it will be underside, is that correct?

Yeah, if you can't see it fr above then it will be on the underside

Just sorted out my own post. Just found the fitting instructions on DTUK's website. It was a bit misleading as it gave me two options. Found the solution on the "CRD-T for VAG 2.0TDI 2011 onwards" link.

Just baffled a poor Yorkshire oik.................

Mine's a 2010

Has anyone chipped the 1.8TSI DSG? Any affects on the gearbox? Considering that those 7-speed DSG's will fail even in stock condition.

MTM chip's 158kw/320nm is quite tempting...

Thinking of going for this box with my CR140 elegance twindoor. How is it going after a couple of months of use?

Any difference in economy?

Cheers

Dave.

Invariably they do on a diesel. The good level of increased torque you get on a tweaked diesel means that most drive them in a slightly calmer way and you can see up to 10% increase in mpg in some case. Totally dependent on how you drive though ;) having said that you don't have to drive like a saint to see an improvement.
