  • How has the surface area been reduced? I will give you my car if my cone has reduced the surface area. Basic maths can tell you it has been increased by a decent amout.

Never noticed a power gain on any car really but I always fit them for the noise on petrols but I had them laying about so put then on the furby. Back to stock now with a pd160 but thinking of going cone filter again. Will see how it sounds with my new exhaust tomorrow first though

They do look nice and I also like the sound.  I'm guilty of installing them on all the petrol cars I have owned.

What exhaust you getting Kyle?

I don't mean I fit them to a 1.2 corsa I always buy the sports models like a st or gsi etc so they all have as a minimum induction kit and exhaust and then lowered

Never been to trax might of been forge action at castle combe.

Nice Kyle! I like the rolled out tips! Used to have twin rolled out on mine but the tar and all the crap etc getting stuck under the lip would drive me insane!

I think I will get a mufflerectomy made up after winter so I can hear my hybrid! A little worried about it being too loud when defrosting etc for now :(

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RAMAIR-UNIVERSAL-AIR-FILTER-80mm-NECK-ALUMINIUM-INDUCTION-INTAKE-ON-SALE-NOW-/271121510501?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2019f065 Thats what i bought along with a length of 80mm silicone hose to connect it all up. Its a bit of a bodge though as under the top join is just a thick seal tape from work with the red silicone cut open and wrapped around to make it look pretty :D . It will have a 45 ally pipe soon but after i have my maf deleted.
