Just received written confirmation on Sat morning that the vRS I ordered on 11 September has been allocated Buildweek 43...so in theory all parts of the jigsaw should be on the factory floor today! :think:

 

Diesel Estate Corrida Red Black Pack Sunset Glass...none of those fancy extras you other guys are getting i.e. spare wheel

 

So if all goes to plan should be seeing the new motor early Dec if not late Nov  ??

Had mine confirmed as build week 43 a couple of weeks ago.

Got an email off my dealer at 9:30am this morning saying it's built on the way to port!

Grats folks, last I heard (Wednesday) was mine had arrive at the port of exit. I've got everything crossed that it arrives at the dealer this week but I think that's pushing my luck!

BW 44 last I heard. Mine went from 44 - 42 - 43 back to 44. Tried to add pano roof but was too late.

Heard from dealer today that the car has a production order meaning building will start next week as scheduled. He will then keep me updated on a week by week basis

Apparently my car has now be built and ready for transport next week. So in fairness since I've ordered the car in September everything has gone as Skoda said it would...fingers crossed thy can now deliver on time - Hopefully at the dealers end of Nov!

 

Can anyone advise if and how you follow the shipping?

mines been sat at emden since last friday. didnt make it on the Schelde Highway which left Emden yesterday. Weser Highway is about to dock at Emden though so hopefully it'll get on there and be in grimsby in a few days!!

although everytime a ferry leaves emden for grimsby im bugging my dealer to see if mines on it!

My car was built & 3 weeks later was still at Emden. Even when it made it onto a ship it was still almost 2 weeks before I got my hands on it & it only had to go from Grimsby to Lincoln. Worth the wait though.

Mine was BW 43, corrida red DSG. Confirmed as being on Uk soil this morning.
