I dropped in on dealer today and it's still at Emden......

Just had a look at the shipping maps and Schelde Highway is just on its way in to dock at Grimsby. I know mine is on that one, so hopefully some other week 43 cars will be too. Should be docked at about 5:30pm apparently.

 

As Weser Highway leaves the dock, Schelde is going in after it had been waiting all afternoon just off shore.

For the rest of you fellow week 43 build peps, my car arrived at the dealers this morning.  They checked it (and there is a problem it is a 1.4TSI not a VRS  ) and commented it was the first car they had seen with ACC.

Dealer confirmed I should be picking mine up at some point next week.

Ordered October 23rd.

Update mine was built 43 and is now at the dealers. Pdi, paint protection and collection Thursday

mine was loaded on a ferry yesterday, i presume the schelde highway, shouldnt be long now.

How sad...but I am now quite excited that my car is on UK soil!!

Stealer is supposed to be phoning today to arrange handover.

My week 43 (Fabia) is now at the dealer. Collecting Saturday.

First time poster here.

Black vRS TDI hatch incoming - normal cruise control the only option specified, ordered late August, bw 44 and been advised today that it's at Emden.

My 3rd vRS ... previous ones were a mk2 and a 2.5 ... I might allow myself to start getting excited now! can't wait, opportunity to put a brief unhappy period with a Golf GTI behind me!

Collect my build week 43 Elegance 1.4TSI tomorrow.

Yeah... heading over to dealers today myself to arrange cherished plate transfer hopefully end of week/early next week for collection!!

Anybody getting rear flaps fitted to their vRS estates??

Spoke to dealer and chose a numberplate. Just waiting to hear about delivery but hoping for next week :-) Pictures will follow when able...not getting mudflaps

Dealer emailed this evening to say they have it. Gave me the allocated reg. should be pdi'd on Friday but no sat nav sd until Monday he reckons. Don't think I'll be picking it up until the weekend after anyway tbf.

My car is build week 44 and is at the port awaiting transportation to the UK!! Black VRS TDI Estate. Should be here early Dec.

Too dark for decent photos - on the phone as well, sorry. 

 

Think it'll need mudflaps - the back of the car is filthy already.

 

As for initial impressions after 70 miles, the vRS Diesel is something really special.  It pulls like a train and the handling is awesome. Xenons are great as well.
