Trip to the shops.....

I might go mad and buy 2 buckets, mitt etc....

I must be missing out. Where can I get some for my car? Do I have to get genuine Skoda ones or can I use 3rd party? Can they be coded with VCDS?

PS

Sorry medication issues Again?

SWMBO has the same on the rear side windows and the back window its like the Olympic rings just appear on misting up :)

Now this car has been "professionally" valeted twice by my local main dealer (once for 1st owner & once for swmbo) but still they appear, it drives me mad.

Took it back shortly after she had it and asked what was needed, they got the valeter to come out with his super window cleaner and he did them again. Guess what still there :(

If I mention them at my dealers now they just take the mick, laugh and tell me stop moaning!

It is the sucker marks from the factory.

So yes please tell what will get rid once and for all?

we have some front and rear in our elegance greentech, never had any on any other car

so whats different on the citigo build process?

I've got faint rings on my windscreen after cleaning. Might try some meths on it next then AG glass cleaner after.

I haven't seen Citigo's circles yet. I've seen them another car. Had to clean windows a few times and they was gone.

Now I wonder why you use air recirculation if you want fog off the windows? As far as I know it's better take fresh air from outside of car. And air con on ofcourse to dry the air. I believe that's just what owner's manual says too.

The only time to use "recirculation" is to prevent unwanted smells inside car eg. smoke, traffic fumes, farmyard etc. Fresh air at all other times.

Those rings (which I've had on previous Fabias) come off with a glass polish ...I have a very old bottle of it made by Turtle Wax, which never seems to get less!

Fogging often happens when parked up waiting to pick up our daughter in the evenings and sat in the car without the engine on...rear windows fog up in minutes.

This happens with any car, of course. It's mainly due to the higher moisture content of the air inside the car and the temperature difference between inside and out...the colder outside, the quicker it happens. I usually have the windows open (even partially) in that situation to help prevent condensation inside.

I'd have my windows open.... if UPS hadn't smashed up my Heko deflectors......

Going to give the windows a proper deep clean tonight after this mornings performance, it was ages until I could see enough to drive safely

I have also bought one of those demister pads as well to wipe the screen, rather than waiting for the air con to clear it

Going to order some of those little bags and leave them on the dash to draw out the moisture in the air

Doh....

SIKA glass cleaner as used by professional glass fitters . I know it will work because i work for a windscreen supplier and we sell and use sika products

Have had my car 2 weeks now and have had the A/C on the whole time and the windows have not misted/fogged up once.Did notice the 2 suction cup rings on the outside of the screen for the first time this morning though.

It's more likely the rings are from the production phase of the windscreen rather than installing it in the car?

Well, just had an hour trying to remove those circles and that barcode sticker...

No joy :(

Was proper pressing on as well... My right arm hasn't ached as much since I was a hormonal teenager :D

Might have to order some of that SIKA glass cleaner then, hopefully that will get rid of them  :wall:

Meths did it for me but nearly put me to sleep :)

How much do you need to drink until you can't see them anymore :D
