Dont think this is a criticism just an observation I dont think the speedo numbering/graduations to be very clear in low light/dark conditions any one else notice this?I have adjusted the instrumen brightness up/down

The easiest way is to press the "door opening button" on the drivers door.

I think a few people on here, myself included, find the dials hard to read sometimes. I often find myself putting my lights on just so I can read the speedo!

My Astra's interior all lit up regardless of whether or not the lights were on. A good feature imo.

What there are dials that tell you the spe speed? OMG must go and look for them LOL.

I have mine on full in my OCTY, but always have had them on full in all cars I have owned.

Yes it can, but I think what peteRS wants to know is if the boot can be opened whilst the keys are in the ignition.

As far I know, the only way is to unlock all doors is by using the unlock switch on drivers door (as mentioned by Tom_vRS).

Should have read the manual more,yes door unlock button that will do nicely to unlock the hatch with the keys still in
