It's looking likely that I'll be ordering a new Superb very soon to replace my current one. Not that I doubt the dealers word but has anyone just taken delivery/ about to take delivery of a car who could give me an idea of delivery times from order to handover please?

I ordered a candy white SE with DAB/sat nav on 4 September. I pick the car up tomorrow 31 October. That is just eight and a half weeks.

I have just ordered a 170 DSG 4x4 estate and was quoted 12 weeks to the UK - so I've to,d them to hold off until 1st March.

I ordered my 170 DSG L&K Estate at the end of September and have been given early January 2014 for delivery.

I rang to add an option to the order earlier this week and was surprisingly told that I was too late as it was at build stage which i found perplexing if delivery was not until Jan.

Thanks everyone. The dealer reckons approx 3 months if ordered now which, based on your replies above and allowing for the Xmas factory shutdown, seems about right.
