AMD Stage 5!

Featured Replies

do seem alot higher price wise than any other tuner i've looked at. only thing i can say is they must do a bloody good job to justify the extra costing.

Silly money imo. Agreed - just buy a better car!!

Put me down for two then please.......... (Group buy, Adrian?)

The price isnt really to do with AmD. Those prices are for Sportec and on the larger stuff if im correct includes shipping the car to Switzerland for them to do it. An employee with a MK4 Golf turbo who has had the Sportec kit fitted and then some is very happy with what he has had done but desnt shout about it alot so i'll keep details brief. Last I heard it was around 350bhp but was being stripped back down for a 1.9 bottom end and a bigger turbo (was running a hybrid version of the KKK as fitted to the Audi RS2) and more boost. Expected power is over the 400bhp mark.

Owned by a top bloke aswell.

Good read on there Ross - blimey! That's a very nice Golf. Wonder how much he's spent on it

I like that's it still looks subtle and understated too. He could very easily gone as mad on the bodykit etc as he has on the internals!

Steve

Looks similar to Gary's one, Lummox

Yeah, when I last spoke to Gary, he was having problems with it (was still in the dev stage). Must call him, ain't had a chat for about 18 months :(

R32 Supercharged

looks interesting clicky

EIP tuning can beat that easy.

Click and download the top video, simply stunning, not only in looks and performance (600 bhp) but also listen to that noise & how quick it is to pick up in any gear at any speed it's simply awesome, no other words do it justice.

P.S. I'd also like to point out how clean the install is, looks like it came from the factory like that.

Gary's car has allways been problematic yet Ed's (pictured above) is a daily runner and very rarely off the road.
