Our Ibiza DIESEL was filled with UNLEADED petrol. :thumbdwn:

Phone call from my son at 6,00pm last night, he had left work popped across the road to Tesco's and filled the tank with

Even tho this has previously done the rounds, still makes me chukkle :)

Bad luck Dougal :(

Do like that advert (and the polo one) :D

Saw my first car with the words DIESEL stuck on the filler cap.Might be worth it in the future. Not that it could happen a third time........

Cant get the advert to run on my PC, dont know why.

Hopefully it will be another 6 years before it happens again.

My son is now of the opinion that the diesel pumps should be changed so that this error cannot happen.Dont think he will do it again in a hurry.

arent diesel Green Hoses

arent diesel Green Hoses

Where?

Green always = unleaded down here, that I know of anyway. :o

I am paranoid about getting the right fuel in the car and having the escrote of love at the moment, is giving me good unleaded practise. Always nice to get a different aroma when filling the car up.

Black. Colour of The Dark Side. :D

**** happens, my brother pulled on to a forcourt a few months back and some guy was syphoning petrol out of his diesel, asked if my brother wanted the petrol, full tank for free

Yeh, people make mistakes, especially if your in the hurry. Someone should make some adapter for it so, only unleaded hoses fit into the opening of unleaded cars and vice versa for diesel. Pretty simple.. lol

A friend of mine's mum but diesel in her normally super reliable Nissan Micra. She then started it up.... pretty much finished off the car, after that it went down a downward spiral until it totally died.

I nearly put unleaded in my accident a while ago in the middle of the night on a badly lit forecourt, it was a BP station and some premium fuel they have (can't remember name) has the same dark blue colour pipe for both unleaded and diesel
