Barry loves it! Only problem is the nose marks all over the back window. I don't bother with dog guard, the umbrella tray bit keeps him away from the back of the seats.

If I left my rugby boots in the back of my one the dogs would think it was play time.

Lol he is not a chewer. He is a good lad and knows what's his and what's not. It's funny really he has never been told not to go near my little boys toys but he won't touch them at all and if a teddy is in his way he will squeeze past it trying not to touch it. Same with balls, loves playing with football's but once my son gets his iggle piggle ball out he won't go anywhere near.

I'm a dog lover too, but with OCD. Get yourself a Border Terrier which can quite happily fit in the front passenger footwell. Eh voila! No mucky nose marks!

The reason I got a vRS hatch is because I don't have a dog or a pushchair!

Iv got a dog and a five year old who enjoys taking scooters, bikes or what ever else takes his fancy on the way out. I have a hatch as well :) does the job perfectly

I have a Jack Russell and he doesn't come anywhere near my Vrs

He does like the CitiGo though

I must dig out an old photo of I think I had 5 or 6 dogs in the boot of my old octy 1 estate lol bit if a squeeze lol

I have no dog.....and no pram! My son lives with my ex-wife and I only see him occasionally! So I got a vRS Hatch as it's mostly just myself and my g/f....but, I stil wish I could have afforded a vRS estate....as I play bass guitar in a band and sometimes have a lot of gear to humph to gigs! I also am a member of a WWII Living History/Re-enactment group.....and it's amazing how much gear I need to humph along to those events too......

Cant find the photo of the 5 dogs in the car but here are said dogs......

I only have 2 dogs (the others were a friends) but they will occasionally share 'their' boot space with other stuff if we're going away somewhere lol.

P.S No photo of them in the octy 3 yet as I cant bring myself to let them get in it yet LOL

Good job theres no Trains Coming, 5 dead dogs.

I've hit a few due to them wandering onto the tracks

I'm liking that bumper protector.where did you get that from?

Lol the crossing is traffic light controlled with car and pedestrian gates. Plus you can see a long way down the line. Don't worry we only cross when it's safe to do so lol. 8 years never lost a dog yet ;)

Mikejay if you're talking about mine, it came like that so I don't know if it was standard factory or fitted by the chap I bought it from sorry

Understand that one. Initial acceleration of the JR would be good but top speed is rather limited so the TSI would have it over 100m!
