sill protectors

Featured Replies

I think they look pretty good. I imagine it is a hard job making them look amazing as the double step sill isn't the most elegant part of the car let's be honest.

One other concern I'd be interested in seeing if others share is that I've found quite a lot of water and dirt collects here during driving - I wonder if it could get under the adhesive of DIY sill protector fitting?

I have the last one on your list. Very nice and go along with my chrome/stainless steel theme on my S. I have the s/s rear bumper protector as well and am fitting a Sport grille shortly when it arrives.

Thanks Peter, I do like the look of those, I like the way they cover the edges.

Are they pretty decent quality?

The only thing is my sport is red & black so the black ones would suit a bit better......... maybe

Quality is fine, fit easily and as they are stainless steel are likely to last longer than the others.

I've got the carbon ones. Not fitted them yet. Still debating them. Got 2 box. They like a carbon vinyl. Unsure if I like them.

What sport grille do you mean????

The one with the chrome trim that the S doesn't have

You'll have fun putting the chrome insert into the grille :(

I've got the whole grille coming.

Interesting it came in 2 parts when I ordered one from the dealer.

It's a complete secondhand one. Ebay strikes again.

Ah I see. There's a bloke selling some for £50 near me on eBay.

These ones certainly look the best, any more information on them?

Otherwise I think the stainless 2 piece ones are looking favourite....

These are supposed to be sold by www.rearguards.co.uk but can't find them on their website, might have to give them a call.

They only seem to make them for the 3-Door model at the moment, they are £35.16 plus £4.78 UK Delivery.

I have got the three door version of the last listing on my 3 dr Mii and they not only look good but were easy to fit and also seem to do the job of protecting the sill.

Here is the listing:

Thanks mate, I've emailed them to ask if they will do a 5dr set so will see what they come back with. If they aren't going to I reckon i'll just get a 3dr set & fit them to the front.

They arrived today, looks like I have a job at the weekend.

Nice,

Put a pic or two up when you've put them on :)

Yea they look decent. Could you do me a favour and measure the length of them? I might get these ones for the front of my 5Dr.
