ticket holder

Featured Replies

Hi, I love the little ticket holder on the windscreen, well I did until I snapped it off while cleaning the glass. Anybody know how to replace it. I realise it's not really a highly technical question but it's annoying me.

Pull off A pillar trim, undo screw, remove remaining bit of plastic, fit new one, replace screw, replace trim, have a cup of tea.

(if you have an airbag in the pillar then it is more complicated but I can't remember if such an airbag is fitted to the octy, it isn't on mine)

New clip cost about £1 from TPS.

Thanks, did'nt think it would be that simple, mines black coffee = cheers

Ha ha, love it, I have just collected my 10 plate vrs today and thought this was something the dealer had left in there by mistake. My ticket holder is currently sporting a poppy!

Thanks, did'nt think it would be that simple, mines black coffee = cheers

If it takes you more than 5 minutes, you're doing something wrong. :giggle:

Yo dude its wee buns to do this first you'll need a new one then pull off the a pillar trim and its secured with one screw... how i know this is because i did not like it and i got ride of mine.

If you do have an airbag in the A pillar there will be an airbag symbol on the pillar trim near the top.

Under this is a screw which needs undoing before the pillar trim will come off.

If it takes you more than 5 minutes, you're doing something wrong. :giggle:

I guess hes a perfectionist when grinding the coffee

Can't believe I didn't realise what this was...always wondered why it was there ! Hopefully I wasn't the only one
