Gutted for Jorge. Inferior machine (just, I concede) but made a race of it.

Another good race in a brilliant season. The highlight for me was The Silverstone race.

Bradley Smith had a very impressive first season.

Looking forward to next year and forfeiting my F1 Europe trips for Moto GP instead.

The first 8-10 laps were awesome, but as soon as Rossi and Bautista dropped off the pace it all became a bit processional

One of the most entertaining races for a few years.

Edge of the seat suffer for the first third and then it did become a bit predictable.

I feel sorry for Jorge but he did all he could and won the race.

I suppose it still comes down to a fair amount of luck even if he teams throw millions at it.

Apparently Yamaha have a third of the budget of Honda but still gave them a good run for their money.

Roll on next season....

Moto3 was down to the wire though.

Did Yamaha beat the Honda's on their home Circuit ? , as painful as Manchester United getting beat at Old Trafford

I believe they did.

Honda were all geared up for celebrating Marques wrapping up the championship at Motegi.

Instead they had to watch Yamaha celebrate their 200th GP win.

How galling!

Silverstone was a great race, I'm not a big fan of Lorenzo but I thought his performance particularly in Silverstone was outstanding given the Yamaha has generally looked the weaker bike.  The finish to Indianapolis was impressive as well with Bautista, Rossi and Crutchlow somehow getting to the finish line without a horrendous crash and the two Ducatis coming very close as well.

 

Hoping for another good championship next year as the F1 has been a real let down this year while the MotoGP has had some fantastic racing.

It is free on the Internet if you take BT broadband. Other than that there must, sadly, be some cost implications.

I will miss Cox and Parish if they don't transfer over.
