I've been playing with the configurator for a mk 3 combi on the website and finally settled on which options I'd like to have;

Sport suspension

Electric tailgate

Golus alloys

Sunset glass

Canton

Park Assist

With the choice of model (1.4 SE with DSG) this is coming in just over 22k.

I'm wondering now how many of these could be retrofit on a used example and if I can get these fitted post production if this might work out cheaper.

Retro fitting options never works out cheaper.  The wheels and the suspension are the only things on there that are possible or won't cost silly money.

You can also get your windows tinted by a decent company that your dealer will recommend and know, which is what I am considering doing for the rear windows of my car as I forgot to add the sunset glass.
