It's just a Seat Leon Cupra R splitter that lots of people fit. Don't be fooled buy the guy calling it a Cup Spoiler.

I reckon it's cheaper at the main dealers.

It is cheaper direct from seat dealer. Paid less than £20 for mine a few years ago.

Its £45 from seat now!

Try TPS??

They don't do discount on plastics but may retail cheaper:)

Thanks for the response guys. Ive tried dealing with tps for things but have been told they dont deal with joe public :( because im also after the foam base for drivers seat before the metal support rips through the leather. Any hints and tips on using tps would be great... also what would be the best way of fitting the splitter???? Cheers

Always delt with TPS and never had a problem. Get chummy with your local parts man at your local stealer and get him to order parts and just pay him.

My company MKS Performance had accounts with them but never heard of not dealing with joe public

And tiger seal will sort the splitter for u:)

Cheers skud I shall get onto that :)

But leave it a good night to dry and make sure it's well secured in its mounting position. The last thing u want is for the splitter to dry squint lol

i ordered the same one on saturday from fleabay. i didnt think the leon one would fit as i thought the front end was more rounded on the leon?

Vrscarl let us know how you get on with fitting, and wether its a good fit or not, I just gotta wait for funds to clear then its splitter and spoiler on order :)

Personally i would not tiger seal it as a nightmare to remove if you damage it or decide to remove it. Certainly if car is low

I used small self tappers. And one day i went over a low verge and took it clean off. At least the screw popped out and no major damage.

I removed my splitter in the end, as got fed up driving around with it fitted and avoiding curbs and low uneven surfaces...

Ok I could of raised coilovers,  but not a option for my stance and look.

here is a pic with it fitted to mine some time back (they need trimming a bit to fit spot on(only the tabs cutting).

Cool cheers bowders. Gotta get her through the mot first before anything (3pm today) fingers crossed advisory I can deal with failure is not an option

Splitter arrived today, cut the tabs off tapped it to bumper and my thoughts were correct, the octavia is squarer than the leon so its not a perfect fit, however i think i can live with it gonna get some self tappers tomorrow, just hope skoda can get it on their ramp when it goes in for cambelt change.

Nice vrscarl. Any pics of progress?

There's plenty of pics on the search or google search come up with some too.

You can get it to sit right though

First remove tabs like you have done.

Then cut down the centre posts slightly as if you leave them that height it will bow on the middle. Then you can mark up where you want it to fit it and drill holes through the centre and fix down with self tappers the front centre section.. Then you can go along each side and pull splitter outwards and hold on place and drill holes. This way you will get the shape you need. There is a good guide on the techie section somewhere. I think for a fabia but same fitting really. Just ignore the bit where it states cut grooves in splitter as not needed on the octy

Ive cut the tabs of top of the posts, so shall i cut them down another 10mm to the flat bit in the posts, then screw though each post?
