Rear mudflaps for estate

Featured Replies

Hi, greetings from Norway:)

Picked up my wifes new car this week. A black Octavia 1.6d 4x4 estate. Great car.

But, i can't see to find rear mudflaps anywhere. The dealer said they didn't have any yet. Got front flaps mounted.

Could anyone here guide to where i can buy that? I checked superskoda and ebay.

Also interested in this for mine when it comes!

Thought they came as standard myself but it wouldn't surprise me if there not fitted; a few people have been mentioning standard items missing on collection of recent, which is a little concerning.

Oh be interested on how you find the new car. Had been considering the 1.6 TDI 4x4 myself but got steered towards the 2.0 TDI instead, as it was suggested the smaller engine lacked go, particularly loaded on a longer run.

The car is quite good. It's no race car off course. The 2.0 liter would be better but didn't want to spend anymore on the car that will be the nr 2 car.

But i'm impressed with the job Skoda has done With this Ocatvia when it comes to ride and interior quality.

Will be driving it to the cabin in the Mountains this weekend so will get to test the 4x4 system.

If its like the Mk2 then the mudflaps from the hatch will fit. I had a set on my Mk2 hatch and they easily swapped to my Mk2 estate.

In the UK rear flaps are standard, at least on the combi. Unless of course it is a VRS :(

Oops yes should have made it clearer that mine was a vRS

Hi there, yes I've got a mk3 vrs estate and really need some rear mudflaps! Driving it on the motorway, spray constantly covers the rear glass if there is any dampness on the road. Does anyone know if there is a set that fits the front and rear of the vrs estate?

I've had a set fitted today by the dealers for exactly the same reason as you. The normal mudflaps fit fine both front and rear despite the accessories catalogue saying otherwise.

Right nice one mate, be onto that one soon as I can. Sorry to be forward but how much did the mudflaps cost?

Cheers

No problem, I paid £110 in total for parts and fitting.

Many thanks for that.

How are these Dedders? Have the made a difference?  I'd be interested if you though they were worth it or not. Also, was this price for fronts and rears please? Thanks

Is there any update on this topic? Recently got a new mk III VRS estate, and the local dealer says they don't make mudflaps for the VRS. Is this true? If not, where would I get them from, and if it is true, do mudflaps from other models fit? How easy would this be for a resolutely non-practical person to fit? :)

Plenty of threads, the standard ones DO fit, despite what the dealer and SUK will tell you.

Sent from my phone so please excuse brevity and spelling
