WP should be changed each time the belt is, silly not to.  If theyre fitting a stat get them to use a genuine one.

Just remind her how much money you have saved, had it been the headgasket!!

This is the place I am going to take mine to in march for cambelt/pump/tensioners etc.........I'm guessing there reasons they've won awards!? I was budgeting about 5-600 for what you are having done so I'm happy you posted this!

You ever south side of the Humber. Seeing far too many black magics here!

They seem very switched on, had them do some work on my previous audi allroad and been using them ever since. There is a lot of black magics out there I like the octy in black but I would get fed up of cleaning it that's why I got a silver one.

I get over to the south side with work a lot and some times in summer with the wife and kids days out etc. Gonna try next year to get to some meets if I'm not at work.

pretty much liverpool-lad surprised it survived the drive home the other night without killing the motor. Quite impressed with the little 1.8t not blowing or seizing when it over heated.

I think you got away with it!

Don't curse it now!!!

Looks just like mine when I removed it..in 2 bits.

Glad you got it sorted..and now the missis can stop whinging!!
