Went to Hortons to check the cost of replacing our current Greenline today.

Finished up ordering a New FL 1.8 tsi K&L.

   Shark Blue.

   Reversing camera.

   Spare wheel &reversible boot floor.

Only £25 more than we're paying for the Greenline with 0% PCP and 3 free services.

SWMBO expressed an interest in replacing her MX5 with a Citigo........

.....New Citigo 75 Elegance Greentec 5 door also ordered.

   Tornado Red.

   Convenience pack.

   15" alloys+Spare wheel& boot floor.

Both look like 14 plate march'ish delivery.

Phew. :whew:

The L&K is a terrific deal-has a great specification and the 1.8tsi is a cracking engine-after a green line you will certainly enjoy the Gti style performance.

Sounds a great package; might see you there if and when the stealth quattro allroad turns up

aka one Octy III 150 4x4

You only went to see what it would cost  :giggle: .

And come out with two new cars on order   :giggle: ,  your wallet must have been  floating out of the showroom door ahead of you  ,

Wallet is still reasonably intact.

The Citigo is more or less self financing,as the mx5 is in a high tax band and costs £280 per year .

Plus around £400 per year service and MOT,and double the petrol cost .

The 0% Finance for the Citigo worked out at just less than £110 per month, and that includes 3 years free servicing.

Seemed a bit of a no-brainer really.

You will love the Citigo, we too have both and they are equally as good as each other, just different toys for different games.

JCP is spot on, the 1.8 is a little cracker.

I'd have it myself if it wasn't for my big mileage.

yeti no 3 ay, I'm on no 2 but haven't seen anything better so far thats as much fun to drive.
