Light Assist & Rain Sensor

Featured Replies

Did a bit of a search and couldn't find anything on this on the forum, but I've noticed that on my quote it lists "Light assistant and rain sensor" for my vrs estate.

Are both of these on some VRS in UK? Or is this an error?

Just managing my expectations! :)

Ace, thanks for the heads-up. Now just to ring Skoda to see if my order from oct 2nd is officially on the system yet(!)

I was starting to doubt if they were on it due to the whole armrest debarcle!

Rain sensor is one of the things our SE order won't have, although I don't think I'll miss it to be honest. It's OK but after almost three years with the function on the Yeti I prefer the more traditional system as fitted to our Fabia.

Yep just to confirm the vRS in fact has lane assist which comes bundled with light assistant.

The car has a large sensor panel on the windscreen containing the lane assist camera and the light/rain sensor. The mirror is auto dipping (identical to that fitted on a MK6 Golf). Cars with just light assistant have a different auto dip rear mirror.

Lane assist is only standard on UK spec vRS I believe on the continent they only get light assistant as standard.

Just to clarify in case you've misread the brochure (I nearly did!) light assist is purely auto lights. It's NOT the auto high beam/dip function.

But yes, light assist and rain sensor is standard.

This is useful - I had misread the brochure in this regard. What is the auto/high low option called (not that I want it - just curious!)
