I know - another tyre thread but I have a reason!

Quick update:

After a run to London the weekend before last and a round trip via Doncaster, Blackpool & Liverpool at the end of last week, I can confirm that the GoodYear Efficient Grips are EXCELLENT in the wet (for my style of semi-spirited A-road and back road exploits) and the car is wonderfully quiet, even on the concrete parts of the A50!

I'm sure if you like throwing your Octy around you'll find their limit quite quickly but for me, compared to the old ones that were on there, it's a 100% improvement and they're providing a significant increase in economy too. Highly recommended if you like peace and quiet and fewer trips to the pumps.

  • I have known to wash it twice in a day I am committed, or should be ! mine with winters on

  • Have a search around on here and you will soon see that 20k is good for front tyres on a VRS derv. Some even get as little as 6k

  • So where's the different question?

Got efficient grips on the fiat 500.

Think they are a great tyre for the money.

I do still get the traction control light come on in the wet on the odd occasion but nothing like I did with the falkens (ze914).

seem much quieter as above and i've only got the front two so will certainly be fitting a pair to the rear when it comes to it.

I got mine for £102 each fitted from a local-ish tyre supplier, Able Fit in bristol for those local to me. Total saving over black circles was £40 and I got them 3 days sooner
