DVD Headrest Mounts

Featured Replies

Hi, Does anyone know how I am going to mount my Kids in car DVD mounts to the 'Headrests' on the bucket seats?

Problems as far I can see with the horizontal straps is it would get right in the way of my head (driver) and as its trapezoid shape from the top down they would ride up. I was trying frind a solution for the RS4 (08's) as they had similar seats. Might just have to get the drill out!

Still awaiting my VRS but have used horizontal straps on a previous car with sport seats, the weight of the screen keeps it from riding up but of course the straps can be felt on the back of your head if you're sitting in the seat in front. Also for the person watching in the rear there is definitely more screen movement than with the ones I have in my current car which bolt onto the headrest poles.

Strap is the only way though I think as the seats are made all in one, I dont think there is a headrest with poles inside the seat which you can mount onto and feed through from holes in the outside.

Only other way is to go with a roof mounted screen but thats ££££££.
