Tell me something i didn't know game

Featured Replies

As above tell me something i didn't know. Starting with 50 points in the bank add ten points for something i didn't know take ten points off for something i did know, when we either get to 0 or 100 the last person with a correct answer (something i didn't know) then gets to take over with their car for example.

So to get started tell me something i didn't know about my car, could be a feature, where its built what tyre pressure you should have in it etc etc.

So here's 50 points. Lets try and give some really geeky answers shall we. My car is a 2003 Octavia VRS in red......Begin!

(ill go for 5 scores either way for now just to get started but if this proves too easy feel free to change it as you please).  :nerd:

Okay, I'll have a go but I probably haven't understood the rules correctly.

Vicki Butler Henderson drove a car like yours on Top Gear once.  It's reg was X341 JRP.  It is an Octavia vRS, it's red.

I cant imagine there would be much difference between the 1.8t and diesel filter mount (same block??) so i'll give you that.

The Indian version of your car only had 150bhp.

Sorry, I read cart rather than car

When first introduced the VRS came with 16 inch wheels.

Why not use one of my cars?  They are both relatively uncommon.

Ahhh really i thought the estates had 16" and the hatch 17" learn something new everyday. That would explain why some ive seen have oddly smaller wheels.

Go on then

the S1 rallye was the only mass produced (if you can say that) car at the time to have a ported head from the factory?

The three bolt wheel pattern fitted to the 106 At least of series 2 can be interchanged with the smart car?

I'm not sure on this one but doesn't the rallye also have a 4-2-1 manifold?

Did you really not know that the rallye had a ported head?

Also if a helicopters airspeed gets too high they can stall. Its called retreating blade stall and is more prevalent of bigger diameter rotors, starting from the rotor tip and moving inwards it has the effect of pitching the nose up and rolling it to one side (in the direction of the retreating blade). consequently slowing the helicopter again.

This is partly the reason why the Chinook is one of the fastest helicopters (at least for its size) out there due to counter rotating blades.

Are we off cars again?

All DNA on earth is left handed. If you landed on a planet exactly the same as ours in every way except their DNA was right handed you could eat all you wanted but you'd still starve to death.

These were also broken after two and a half months light usage.
