Best place to buy Yeti car mats please

Featured Replies

What do you recommend - Amazon, Halfords, Ebay and should they be rubber or velour - any suggestions welcome.

We have a 2013 nearly new Yeti 1.2 Elegance if that makes a difference to what sort we purchase

Thanks everyone

With the weather I'd suggest Rubber.  I leave mine in all year round.

They are not that expensive from a Skoda Dealer and fit well.

Not tried cheaper options myself.

If you know what you're looking for, ebay is the cheapest option. But there's so many scammers offering carefully worded adverts for "Genuine" mats its become a bit of a minefield

Rubber mats from a dealer are the hardest wearing and cheapest "genuine" option.

Would go for genuine Skoda rubber mats .these are locked in place and do not creep in usage.last set in a octy. Still good after 3 years,

+1 to each of the posters above. I have rubber mats in mine - easy to clean and hard wearing and a very good fit. I think they were around £35 from the dealer. You've spent £15,000+ on the car (and looks like a very good deal), there's little point in saving a few pounds on car mats and being disappointed.

Skoda rubber mats, best accessory I bought for the yeti, and they get pressure washed when I get the car cleaned.

Genuine rubber ones aren't that expensive, fit well and stay looking good.

Got my rubber ones from Superskoda.Very pleased indeed.

Bobdog would have hade a field day with this.

Dealer, if you want proper ones, anywhere else if you are willing to take a chance.

I bought rubber mats, boot mat and ud flaps from my local dealer. They are advertised on ebay as a lot for £100 plus £10 postage. I paid £112 for them. Fair deal and no waiting, and they are genuine parts

I've got rubber mats from Skoda dealer (£36) from my Yeti and from Toyota dealer for my Yaris. Both very good and I won't repeat the mistake I once made of buying aftermarket/non-original-manufacturer rubber mats as I once did for another car: the smell from them was appalling! I threw them away and had to buy Autoglym deodoriser to detox the car.

Had what the dealer called protection pack thrown in with my Yeti, as part of the deal, contained mudflaps, mats and boot liner, all Skoda accessories, mats were fabric type, normally go for the rubber type and the boot liner is excellent. Think this would normally retail for £150. What I like about the Skoda mats is that they fix to the floor so wont slide around.  My advice get down to your local Skoda dealer and get mats, would go for rubber rather than fabric, but also get the boot liner.

You may also notice you are missing an ash tray for sweet papers!

Fatwomble, all I can say is " classy ". He he

Watch out Snowy! First Marie tries to poison you, now she's thinking about giving you a make over!!! Head for the hills whilst you still can - fortunately you've got a few to choose from.

They would look lovely in this  :giggle:

Got mine off Ebay. Less than £20 for carpet ones and a perfect fit with the clips. when they get mucky I just jet wash them and hang them up or put them in the washing machine. rubber ones are good for a short time but loose thier black appearance over time and tend to look a bit tatty. I see a lot like this as i'm a valeter.

I never buy genuine Skoda stuff. I got two massive rubber boot mats one for the boot and the other I put under the back seats with cut outs for the seat runners etc so it all stays clean when the seats are out.. They only cost me £20 off ebay Far less than a genuine Skoda boot liner. I only buy the car from a main dealer and never visit another one till it's time to choose another car.

Just to return to this topic for a bit, particularly now that the FLs are coming through in numbers, I'm getting the sense here that rubber mats are the most popular choice?

Presumably the FLs are identical sizewise to the original in terms of mat fitting?

Anyone found any genuine Skoda mats on eBay or Amazon at a good price?
