hi everyone,  i'm looking to buy my first skoda so i've joined here to pick up any hints/tips that might help me in my purchase.  i'm looking to buy a superb elegance diesel model, not the v6 though.   i would prefer a tip auto model but not too fussed if i can get a good deal on a manual one.  i have £5000 to spend and have my eye on a few but as there over 100 miles away from me i would like a few pointers as to what i should be asking on the phone as well as the obvious things before i make a long journey to view the car.
